Valedictorians from accredited Texas high schools are entitled to an exemption from payment of tuition and laboratory fees for two regular semesters following graduation. Other fees are not exempt. Valedictorians should notify the Admissions Office before registering for courses. The names of valedictorians of all Texas high schools are certified by principals to the Texas Education Agency, and the list is supplied to the Institute for reference.
