Testing Center

Due to the decline in SAT testing, LIT will cease providing the SAT. The last administration at the LIT testing site will be June 2023.

Lamar Institute of Technology is an official site for College Board's SAT. The SAT is a nationally recognized college entrance exam that may also be used for exemption purposes for the TSI in Texas.

The reporting location, as seen on your admission ticket, is the Eagles' Nest Building, which is at the rear of the campus. Parking lot faces Adams Street. Arrival time is no later than 7:45 a.m. You must present admission ticket and a valid ID.
