Child Abuse and Neglect (CDEC 2304)

The TEAS exam is now required for Radiologic Technology, Dental Hygiene, Respiratory Care, and Sonography.

The TEAS exam must be completed prior to applying to these selective application programs. The applications are accepted from 1/6/25 - 2/28/25. Students interested in any of these allied health programs must take the TEAS exam prior to applying.

Child Abuse and Neglect (CDEC 2304);

Course Description: Methods used in the identification of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and neglect with an emphasis on developing skills for working with children and families. Includes methods of referral to public and private agencies that deal with investigation and treatment.
