Transcripts

Students are allotted 3 transcripts per long semester (Fall and Spring) and 2 transcripts in the summer semester, additional transcripts are $5.00 each. Transcripts can be ordered in person, by mail or by email. There is a 24-hour processing period. Photo identification is required when ordering your transcript, as well as when picking up your transcript.
 
If more than one transcript is requested, they will be sealed and mailed in separate envelopes.

Ordering on Self Service Banner

  • Log into MyLIT and then Self-Service Banner.
  • Click on the Student Tab and click on Student Records.
  • Click on Via Self-Service Banner.
  • You can send your transcript to:
    • College of your choice and address to the serving party
    • Mail it to your home address
    • Click Continue
  • Select Official Transcript for Transcript Type
    • Click Continue
  • Request the Number of transcripts you would like. (No fee-No charge)
    • Click Continue
  • Look over the Transcript Request Summary.
    • Click Submit Request


Ordering In Person

Transcripts can be ordered in person in room 112 of the Wimberly building on the Lamar University Campus. Please note there is a 24-hour processing period.


Ordering By Mail or Email

Include a written request with the following information:
 
    Full name
    Student identification number
    Date of birth
    Approximate dates you attended
    Where you would like the transcript mailed or if you will pick up transcript
    Your signature
    Copy of your photo identification

If someone other than the student will be making payment and/or picking up the transcript, their name needs to be included on the transcript request.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are free. They are given in person in room 112 of the Wimberly building. Unofficial transcripts will not be mailed or faxed.
