The Lamar Institute of Technology Foundation is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 entity organized under the laws of the State of Texas. It exists solely for the benefit of Lamar Institute of Technology. The Foundation serves as the preferred channel for private gifts to all areas of the Institute and supports and enhances the educational mission of the Institute. The Foundation plans a scholarship banquet and special fundraising events that enhance quality of life, encourage success and positively change not only the futures of Institute students and their families, but of the entire community. Located in the Cecil Beeson Building, 855 East Lavaca, Room 205, the Foundation is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors.

Lamar Institute of Technology provides quality education and training that enable a diverse student population to achieve its career goals. Programs are enhanced by developing and maintaining partnerships with business, industry and the community. Faculty is dedicated to teaching, advising and scholarship. Both faculty and staff work to serve the Institute and the community.
