The Lamar Institute of Technology Respiratory Care program was awarded a $10,000 scholarship by the National Board for Respiratory Care. The funds will be used to cover the cost of the One Vision package, a platform that provides video-based resources and competency-based review workshops, for the class of 2026.

“One Vision is an extremely beneficial resource for our students to help them obtain their credentials post-graduation,” said Stacy Taylor, Respiratory Care Program Director. “Due to the cost of $500 per student, this scholarship will alleviate a financial burden for them.”

One Vision will give each student lifetime access to resources including 24/7 online self-assessment quizzes, pre-recorded videos, additional tutoring, respiratory review workshops and additional resources to incorporate in the LMS platform.

“I hope the long-term takeaway of this access will be improved performance in national board testing and Increased understanding and practical application of respiratory care modalities,” Taylor. “We view One Vision as an invaluable resource for the students and plan to continue to utilize this wonderful program well into the future.”
