Intro to Health Care Concepts (RNSG 1128)

The TEAS exam is now required for Radiologic Technology, Dental Hygiene, Respiratory Care, and Sonography.

The TEAS exam must be completed prior to applying to these selective application programs. The applications are accepted from 1/6/25 - 2/28/25. Students interested in any of these allied health programs must take the TEAS exam prior to applying.

Intro to Health Care Concepts (RNSG 1128);

Course Description: An introduction to concept-based learning with emphasis on selected pathophysiological concepts with nursing applications. Concepts include acid-base balance, fluid and electrolytes, immunity, gas exchange, perfusion, metabolism, coping, and tissue integrity. This course lends itself to a concept-based approach.
