LIT Online. Online learning.

The LIT Online Experience

Blackboard

Blackboard is the Learning Management System (LMS) used for online and face-to-face classes. Students and faculty will access Blackboard through their myLIT single sign on system. Online courses may require special software or proctoring agreements for labs and/or exams to provide an in-depth and user-friendly experience for learners. This information will be outlined in the course syllabus.

Online Quad

Where being virtual doesn't mean disconnected. The LIT Online Quad is your go-to space for weekly non-course related discussions, community building and a fresh take on campus life - no matter where you log in. Whether you're here to connect with classmates, rediscover forgotten traditions, or simply have fun while learning, the Online Quat provides a community space that exists within Blackboard.

LIT Online Student Policies and Resources

LIT is committed to a high-quality educational experience for all students. Online students have access to the same educational resources as face-to-face students including faculty, online tutoring, financial aid opportunities, virtual health and well-being support and more.

Technical Support

LIT students have technical support for Blackboard Learn™ and related online learning tools available 24/7 through a Texas State University System shared services agreement with Sam Houston State University - Online.

Students should contact LIT Blackboard Support at 936-294-4395 or lit-bbsupport@lit.edu for technical assistance.
