The Management Development program assists students in developing fundamental skills, knowledge, attitudes and experience, enabling them to function in decision-making positions as supervisors or managers.

The Management Development Certificate program of study is 30 semester credit hours in length and includes courses covering skills needed in the business world, such as, writing, accounting, small business, and human resources. Graduates of the program are prepared for entry-level positions in a small-to-medium businesses.

The intensity and standards of the Management Development certificate program are high. Therefore, all courses in the Recommended Program of Study must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. Any Management Development student who does not earn a grade of "C" or higher must repeat the course.
