Can this degree be completed totally online? No, the degree has a high degree of hands-on training which requires face-to-face classes. Most of the academic classes are offered online and 4 of the 10 process classes are offered online.

Is there the opportunity to co-op or intern in the plant? Yes, during your last semester you can apply for a co-op position at a participating plant. This requires the student to work full-time during the entire semester and is often a paid position.
