When another associate degree is taken simultaneously, or has been taken previously, the second associate degree may be granted upon the completion of all required work for the second degree. A minimum of 15 additional hours, as specified by the department granting the second degree, must be completed at Lamar Institute of Technology.

Change of Major

Students wishing to change their majors must have the approval of the chair of the department of their former major and approval of the chair of the new department. These approvals must be in writing on the form entitled "Change of Major." Since major changes from a TSI waived certificate program to a degree seeking program change TSI status, all major changes must be routed through the TSI office for approval.
