LIT, LSCO and LSCPA Announce Polk County Center with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Texas State University System (TSUS) announces the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Polk County Center, scheduled for 2 p.m. on August 14, 2024. The event will take place at 1015 US Hwy 59 Loop N, Livingston, TX.
“The TSUS Polk County Center is here to serve the communities of Polk County. Our campus looks forward to offering education and technical training for in-demand jobs that lead to high wages and a well-prepared workforce for the employers of Polk County,” Kristin Walker, Executive Director of the TSUS Polk County Center, said. “The Polk County Center will be an agent of change, transforming lives through student-centered resources, small class sizes, and affordable tuition.”
The TSUS Polk County Center represents a significant investment in education and workforce development for the communities of Polk County. This new educational facility will offer a diverse range of courses and training programs jointly offered by Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT), Lamar State College Orange (LSCO), and Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA).
