TSI Registration Procedures

  • Obtain a Testing Form (neon pink) at the Cashier’s Office, located in the Cecil Beeson Building. Complete required information and pay at the Cashier’s Office.
  • Proceed to Testing Center (Technology Center Room 112, inside the Learning Lab) with receipt and Testing Form to schedule or take exam.

For TSI, appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are accepted when there is sufficient time to complete the exam, when we have available computers, and when the examinee has completed the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) prior to test time. We recommend calling before you walk in, as we tend to book days in advance during peak testing times. The PAA is located at www.lit.edu under the Testing Center page. The PAA also provides links to study material. All examinees should review the material well in advance of the exam. The TSI Assessment is a non-timed test and may take four hours or longer. Students should meet with an advisor prior to testing, to determine which sections they will need to take. Testing staff will not advise. Exemptions are found online at www.lit.edu under the Testing Center page.
